Description

In 1883-1884, Frederick Remington partnered in a saloon in Kansas City, Missouri, my hometown. He sold his art at a hardware store close by. His most famous painting, A Dash for the Timber, never hung in Kansas City. My work shows a very young Remington watching over a card game with his most famous painting hanging in the saloon. I call it a little bit of history and a lot of fantasy.
